Donald Trump has lashed out after he was banned from one of the biggest gatherings of conservative activists over controversial comments he made about Fox News host Megyn Kelly.

In an interview with CNN on Friday, the GOP frontrunner appeared to imply that Kelly 'unfairly' grilled him about his history of insulting women because she was menstruating.

"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her... wherever. "
