Trump getting ready to reopen economy

But expect a big fight with the MSM and democratic governors. (IMO), as they oppose whatever Trump does.
Trump says decision coming ‘shortly’ on reopening economy, as task force formed

However Cuomo agrees if antibody testing were done, he would agree to reopen. It would be safe to allow known recovered corona-virus cases to work again without any further antibody testing. If they recovered and have a negative antigen result.
Anyone else if they have a positive antibody test are also safe to do whatever they want.
The epidemiologists say testing is not necessary for low risk people.

There is a group forming demanding a ridiculous requirement before reopening, and that is to have a working vaccine approved...there may never be a vaccine.

This definitely needs prayer. Very happy we have a businessman for a president and not a lawyer.

And there's no way governors are going to oppose this. Their voters will revolt.

Trump has a knack for getting on the right side of issues. He knows the majority of Americans are more concerned now about the economy and he knows the media will oppose whichever side he takes.

Funny how when the stay at home orders were being given Trump deferred to the states, citing Federalism, but now that the economy is going to be opened he says he has the power to do it nationwide.

sigh, he doesnt have that authority. Talk about jumping to conclusions

Conclusions don't end with a question mark.

And it's a curious situation. Trump surely has some authority. For certain we need someone to run point on this. I need more context. I believe there's a briefing today.

I didn't say he had the authority. I said, "now that the economy is going to be opened he says he has the power to do it nationwide."

I'm sorry, but I'm only quoting the President. Did you read the article in the OP?

Here's the relevant part:

"For the purpose of creating conflict and confusion, some in the Fake News Media are saying that it is the Governors decision to open up the states, not that of the President of the United States & the Federal Government," Trump tweeted Monday.

"Let it be fully understood that this is incorrect. It is the decision of the President, and for many good reasons," he continued.

Oh my word, "he doesnt" was in reference to my position that he doesnt have the authority he thinks he does on this issue.

We the people who live in various states have none to blame except our own state politicians for how destructively they manage this covid-19 virus. And we know some will pass the blame onto Trump, just like they always do. The leopard can not change his spots (by himself can he).
