...But Cruz Runs Close Behind
Trump gets the support of 40 percent of Republican primary voters, while Texas Sen. Ted Cruz gets 35 percent. Ohio Gov. John Kasich, in third place, has the support of 24 percent of GOP primary voters.

So Trump wins his home state, New York, one of the most populous states in the nation. That's what it took to propel him to 40% of Republican primary voters.
Big Deal.

If Mr. Trump is the deal maker he makes himself out to be. He'd figure out a way to make a deal with those who have the delegates he needs.
40% in his home state ... not exactly a landslide.
Actually, it was more like 60%- and I believe he won all but one district - received 90 delegates.
Since Cruz came in third - should he drop out?
