Trump, the only GOP candidate still running for president, won South Dakota by garnering only 2/3's of the vote.

Trump 67.1%
Cruz 17.0%
Kasich 15.9%

means nothing, South Dakota will almost certainly go for Trump in the fall. Bernie was drawing dead yesterday, too, and did quite well.

Yes, interesting results. This is the percentage that Trump won by state - running unopposed in a Republican primary.

NJ – 80%

CA – 75%

MT – 73%

NM – 70%

SD – 67%

Uh oh:

June 3, 1980, Reagan got LESS than two thirds (64%!) in the New Mexico primary and just 80% in his HOME STATE California!

Unlike Trump, Reagan still had opposition from John Anderson in the Republican primaries, while Bush had just pulled out of the race a week beforehand.
