I've got a bad feeling about this. I hope I'm wrong.

You're not the only one. I can't shake the feeling that the President gets COVID-19. That feeling has persisted for a week. I've repeatedly prayed that the President and everyone will be safe. We'll know in two weeks if there was any fallout from the disease, due to the incubation period.

I was thinking more that we might get a bad response from gangs and mobs!

Here in the Salt City, very little on the news about Trump

The reason - there was a shooting - at least 9 people sent to the Hospital.
At least 20 police vehicles responded - evidently no LEO fired any shots a

At the moment that's about all I heard - will update, if I hear more.

What could happen?

"A major story to emerge from President Trump’s rally in Tulsa, Okla. On Saturday evening was the unexpectedly low turnout at the event. The rally was an extremely high-profile kickoff of the POTUS’s 2020 re-election effort after 3½ months of being kept off the campaign trail due to the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. Rather than happenstance, it appears that the disappointing attendance was the result of a conspiracy of Trump haters – both radical left and RINO right – to suppress the turnout...."

"...The fact is that the huge numbers of MAGA fans just weren’t there. And why was that? Trump nemesis Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gave more than a hint in a tweet she issued at 8:27 PM ET – less than a half hour after the president began speaking at the indoor rally. AOC’s tweet was a reply to one tweeted 57 minutes earlier by Brad Parscale, the Trump 2020 campaign manager, blaming the lower than expected turnout on “radical protesters. . . [who] interfered with @real DonaldTrump supporters at the rally. They even blocked access to the metal detectors, preventing people from entering.”

According to AOC, however:

Actually you just got ROCKED by teens on TikTok who flooded the Trump campaign w/ fake ticket reservations & tricked you into believing a million people wanted your white supremacist open mic enough to pack an arena during COVID Shout out to Zoomers. Y’all make me so proud...."

"...Tending to confirm AOC’s version of events were quotes from Steve Schmidt, the late Sen. John McCain’s failed 2008 presidential campaign manager, who tweeted, as the Washington Times noted, “that the Trump campaign was duped by anti-Trump teenagers requesting tickets.” Schmidt added:

“My 16-year-old daughter and her friends in Park City, Utah, have hundreds of tickets,” Mr. Schmidt tweeted at Mr. Parscale minutes before the rally was set to begin. “You have been rolled by America’s teens. @realDonaldTrump you have been failed by your team. You have been deserted by your faithful. No one likes to root for the losing team.”

According to the Times:

Mr. Schmidt, a collaborator in the “Lincoln Project” of Republican operatives opposing the president, suggested the group was responsible for undermining the rally attendance.

“This is what happened tonight. I’m dead serious when I say this. The teens of America have struck a savage blow against @realDonaldTrump,” Mr. Schmidt said. “All across America teens ordered tickets to this event. The fools on the campaign bragged about a million tickets. lol. @ProjectLincoln.”..."

Was Trump Tulsa turnout punked by alliance of AOC and Trump-hating RINOs?

How is AOC's posse of children any different than the alleged meddling of Russia in the 2016 elections? If you have people meddling to stop free speech and block people from participation, that is no better than Russian meddling. Shame on AOC and the progressive left.

Official statement of the Trump campaign says the idea of teens hacking the ticketing process is bogus. They say it was the fear of violence that kept people away. So you can stop being riled up over teens on Tik Tok..
-----

Every rally is general admission - entry is on a first-come-first-served basis and prior registration is not required. The fact is that a week’s worth of the fake news media warning people away from the rally because of COVID and protestors, coupled with recent images of American cities on fire, had a real impact on people bringing their families and children to the rally. MSNBC was among outlets reporting that protesters even blocked entrances to the rally at times.

Trump campaign statement on bogus claims of ticket hacking

So why the high expectations of a huge turnout? Who acquired those 1,000,000 plus tickets?
Sounds like the high expectations was hype from the Trump campaign.

There were no 1,000,000 tickets to be acquired. I think the way it works is you register to go to the rally, then go stand in line to get the actual tickets. First come, first served. That's why people line up a day before the event.

The arena in Tulsa holds 19,000 so there could not be 1,000,000 tickets available. It could be that thousands of teens registered, leading the Trump campaign to claim 1,000,000 people wanted to attend.

:Laugh:Laugh:Laugh Yea he was probably set up... but that’s politics right....too dirty for me. But I gotta admit, they are enlivening the presidential race now aren’t they? They obviously have some imagination and the stones and money to pull it off however this race is total absurdity... thank God it’s coming with entertaining twists and turns otherwise it would be very dull indeed so I gotta laugh. Trump puts winning above everything so, game on grandpa :D

“...the fact that while the arena wasn’t completely full, it was still a big crowd, about 3/4 full during a pandemic, with people waiting days to get inside and millions watching on Youtube. If you listened to liberal media, you’d think it was empty. Joe Biden has trouble even filling a room and has to have “private speeches” so no one can talk about the lack of enthusiasm for him.

But some were boasting they had a hand it the turnout being lower.:

No, Liberals Booking Tickets to Trump Rally Didn't Lower the Numbers, but MSNBC Picks Up Something Which May Have

“...But actually their claims just reveal two things.

First, the fact that they think they have to cheat and try to interfere in the election to try to beat the President. That just reveals how empty they feel their own candidate, Joe Biden, is. They’re not even embarrassed about trying to cheat, in fact, they think they’re clever. They also coordinated using Tik Tok, a Chinese service, so literally trying to interfere with Chinese assistance. It’s especially ridiculous that you have a sitting Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), cheering on their actions.

But second, this is just wrong. Tickets are first-come, first-served. So if they don’t show up, other people get in. Liberals claiming this have no idea how the system works. In other words, they spent all this time plotting this great interference, just admitted to it and bragged about it, but actually did nothing more than just wasted their time.

What may have made a difference, in addition to the pandemic, is concerns about BLM making things violent and blocking the gates, as this MSNBC report showed right here. Ultimately they cleared the gates, but it’s not clear how many people may have been concerned about violence and left....”

I still think it was a little too soon to hold an indoor rally, guess if they wanted to do it outdoors, there's more security risks in that.

And seeing that the left got a bunch of ditzy kids to sign up for tickets and not show up? That's supposed to be clever? It's like ordering pizza to your teacher's home in the fourth grade.

Wouldn't have mattered anyways if the Trump people had showed up but they didn't and it really doesn't matter in the long term. I saw the speech, his delivery was on, his timing was on, and he's not going to pull his punches on Joe Biden.

A couple of people here get it - these tickets to these rallies are meaningless, what they are really after is the personal info you supply. Now these kiddies (still want vote by mail?) will be getting a text from the Trump campaign twice a day, and if they used a fake number, well, the Chicoms have their real ip.
