Oh yes, Kate Smith, I was trying to remember her name a while back but I had Ethyl Merman stuck in my head. I knew it wasn't Merman of "God Bless America" fame. I remember seeing Kate Smith on TV when I was a kid singing that song and even then it would raise the haris on the back of my neck.

Yes, I remember Kate Smith. Those were the days. Why back then, most celebrities could bring honor to God without folks wanting to sue each other.
