U.K. Artist Kills Herself After Aborting Twins
    Sunday, February 24, 2008

A British artist, expressing remorse and regret, hanged herself after aborting her twins when she was eight weeks pregnant, London's Sunday Telegraph reported.

"I should never have had an abortion," Emma Beck wrote in a note she left. "I see now I would have been a good mum."

The note continued: "I told everyone I didn't want to do it, even at the hospital. I was frightened, now it is to late. I died when my babies died. I want to be with my babies: they need me, no one else does."

Beck, 30, was found in her home on Feb. 1 and pronounced dead the following day, her 31st birthday.

She terminated the pregnancy after breaking up with her ex-boyfriend, who "reacted badly" to her pregnancy, the Telegraph reported.

How horrible! Now three lives are gone. She could have been richly blessed with twins. Having multiples is a scary thing, but I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Having multiples is now safer and easier than ever before, even as a single mother.

    love,

How sad. I'm afraid it doesn't sound like she will see her children ever again, though :tear:

It does make one wonder about how bad the psychological damage is that is done to a young woman who has been talked into an abortion by friends, relatives, or abortion clinic personnel. :tear:

Of course not...Jesus will fry her in hell for an act done out of deep depression and desperation. NOT! Are you privy to her relationship with God? No, I didn't think so.

First, why are you bringing back a post that is a month old...and second, what did you get from her statements that would lead you to believe she is a child of God? I'm beginning to think you are a universalist. She wants to be with her children. Did she ever mention where here children are or how one gets to be there? I didn't think so...

Are you here for debate, MP, or just to call names to everyone who challenges you ?

I have found that at times the ignore list comes in quite handy.

That's a last resort. I don't like putting people there, and no current member is on mine.

Most great artists are wired differently that the rest of us and are on the edge of insanity. Dali, for a modern example.
