OK - what is the point?

Second - how many total murders have occurred since Sandy Hook?

for extra credit, how many murders have been prevented because someone did have a firearm?

Interesting. Nearly all, if not all, of the individual reports cited by the Huffington Post were of areas with "relaxed" gun laws. Not a mention of the gun deaths (specifically, murders) in those cities/areas with "strict" gun control laws (Chicago, New York, Washington D.C., etc.).

There would probably be more if it wasn't for all the law abiding citizens who own firearms.

Were all those guns given a proper burial?

It would be interesting to see a comparison/contrast between the relaxed gun control areas and the strict gun control areas during the same time frame.

If the statistics came out that relaxed areas had higher gun-related incidents, that would actually require us to give serious consideration to an apparent fact that less gun control leads to greater gun-related incidents.

Likewise, if the statistics showed that stricter gun control areas had higher gun-related incidents, we'd have to seriously sit back and consider the apparent fact that stricter gun control leads to greater gun-related incidents.

CTB, care to do the research with us?

If you are going to research the issue, you might wish to consider checking the international stats too. I'm hearing the murder rate climbs fastest in countries that ban guns.

Unless yer just spamming the board. In which case you grab a Huffy headline, post it, and disappear, with no interest of discussion.

Take a look at Chicago. Obamaland.

One of the toughest gun law cities in the US.

Highest gun deaths in the nation last year.

Since 1950, every mass killing but one has been in a state that does not have a right to carry.

Help any?
