UFO's vs the Bible view of God's Universe

A friend of mine sent an email asking about websites that discuss UFO's as they relate to the Bible.

Do you know of any websites that talk about that?

IMHO - the sightings that are not fakes - are simply our own "aliens" mentioned in Rev 12 as being "cast down to earth" who go out to deceive the whole world.

As the NT states "The god of this world" and the "prince of the power of the air" probably makes for a very poor inter-stellar "press agent". Which translates to a huge "stay out" sign for "vacationers" and/or "sightseers" from other planets.

Why don't you ask Doe and his Heaven's Gate followers next time Hale-Bopp comes around. I understand they are on the mothership that was hiding inside the comet.

I believe 'alien' sitings are demonic.

Does Anyone Feel that maybe when the rapture happens the Antichrist will use Aliens as an excuse for millions of people disapearing???

He could be like " I am truly sad to report that all the millions of people who have simply vanished was caused by a massive alien abduction " " Now is the time for us to unite and I will bring peace to this world "

The devil is a liar.... what do you guys think?????

I've often thought that as a possibility.

Yeah I know!! I mean little by little Aliens in movies are becoming more and more acceptable.

Most hit movies in Hollywood are about Aliens invading!! Most kids cartoons are about Aliens invading and being nice little friends.

That's a great point. If you understand the fifth trumpet (the locusts with the king) as symbolic of the rise of the Beast power (note, they come out of "the bottomless pit"), then the first four trumpets can be viewed as world catastrophes (including wars) that allow the antichrist to be able to arise and unite the world under himself! Even if now, things appear to be moving very slowly towards a united world (with all the wars and dissension), this could speed it up.
This view does come from a mid-wrath rapture position, and not the standard pre-trib, though.

I feel you!! So many things are happening right now and the problem is that many Christians are   sleeping. We dont understand that we as ambassadors of Christ has a responsibility to preach this gospel and get as many unsaved people to know the love of Christ.

I agree.

Here is my response on this issue.

Aliens or UFO's that are "sighted" are the result of one of these:
1. Hoax or lie
2. Imagination or delusion/hallucination
3. Natural explanation
4. Demonic deception

I wrote a brief article on this several years ago that was published. It's here:
http://www.watchman.org/na/ufomontg.htm

I would not go to any UFO sites - they are all New Age or just plain kooky, even if they refer to the Bible. I don't know of any that aren't.

To take the wonderful vision of Ezekiel (and I'm going through this now as a devotional), which shows the creatures surrounding God and his incredible majesty, and to try to make this a UFO tale is, imo, to denigrate the Bible.

Clearly anyone doing this is not studying the Bible nor taking it for what it plainly tells us.

What a great article Marcia - nice going! That is the link I will recommend to my friend.

Hey I agree with Marcia on something in addition to the errors of Catholicism and the problem of adding atheist darwinism to the Christian Gospel.

I think UFO sightings are real. Way too many people, even astronauts, have seen them. The other problem is that ufos can be tracked on radar and they also have left radiation. No illusion can be tracked on radar...
It's not that easy. I believe UFOs and aliens might play a huge role in the end times. Imagine what would happen to the world if there was an open ET-encounter!
And what about the abductions? Even a Harvard professor has dealt with all those cases and he said they are real. There are people which believe that aliens are abducting our women in order to create a hybrid race to infiltrate the planet. What if they are right? What if it isn't aliens, what if it's Satan who tries to create a hybrid race (nephilim) again? The bible says it will be like in the days of Noah. What was in Noah's days? In Noah's days the earth was full of nephilim. God had to send the flood to create everything.
For all those which are a bit open-minded I suggest this site here:

And keep in mind these are all christians. This guy here (Guy Malone) had experiences with the litte green men. He talks about them. I think it's worth a listen. :)

I agree that some of them may indeed be real. But as Marcia's post points out - what does it mean when "it is real"??

What is the Bible framework for what other intelligent beings "are doing"?

Is this a vacation spot for them - or are our own local demons "enough" to keep all the neighbors out! (Such that - what is really being seen is our own local demons playing mind games with us)

Hello!!!

One thing about these abductions is that they all have something in common.

About 100% of people abducted by UFO's always say that they told them they could also be Gods.

That Aint Cool!!
