Ugly truth why Hillary Clinton won't quit

"Obama did manage to pull in many white voters, but still encountered similar sentiments from a man who refused to shake his hand at a diner in Greenwood, Ind.
"I can't stand him," the man said. "He's a Muslim. He's not even pro-American as far as I'm concerned."

"Such feelings leave Clinton and the Democratic Party in a tough spot. With the largest number of remaining delegates nowbeing party insiders, they have to decide if Obama can overcome enough of that antipathy - essentially deciding if enough working-class whites will back away from the black candidate, whether because of the false Muslim rumors, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright flap or old-fashioned racism."

Without the white vote Obama has no chance. With the exception of young college age youth and a few frustrated Libertarians, can Obama muster up enough of the white vote to beat McCain?

He's a Muslim. He's not even pro-American
We also believe he's still a muslim, and he certainly isn't pro american, he aligns himself with people who are not pro american and even anti american, his church focuses not on Jesus but on africa, his wife had a lot to say about how bad a place america is. Things just don't add up about him.
Most people I know here also believe he's a muslim.

Is Hillary counting on good old fashioned racism to convince the super delegates that Obama cant beat McCain? The super delegates have a real dilemma on their hands. Choose Obama and lose the general to McCain. Choose Clinton and disenfranchise the black population and possibly risk trouble in Denver and mayby even Detroit, Phila. L.A. etc.

Regardless of what any pro-Clinton/anti-Obama/pro-McCain folks say, for all practical purposes the Democratic Party race is over. The general election race has begun today.

Senator McCain is hardly a guaranteed winner on November 4 - six long, long, long, long months from now.

I think at this point who will win in Nov is a toss up, but for right now, I agree, I think Hillary has lost it.

He says he is not muslim. He says he is Christian. Why don't you let him decide. It makes no difference what you believe, if it's false.

Why does he get to decide? Last time I checked God does the justifying. Claiming to be a christian and being one are not always one in the same.

Conversely, claiming to not be a muslim doesn't make him "not a muslim."

This election season is very confusing. I am a conservative, I used to call myself a Republican but with the way the Bush administration has ran things, I will just call myself a conservative.

I will not vote for Hiliary or Obama because they are more socialist than they are Democrat. John Kennedy or LBJ would be sickened looking at the Democrat Candidates today.

I will not vote for McCain because he refuses to secure the border and goes any way the wind blows.

I have voted for the lesser of two evils since 1992. I don't think I want to do that any more. I am going to write in somebody on my ballott.

People I've thought about writing in
H. Norman Schwarzkopf.
Colin Powell.
Mike Huckabee.

If somebody could give me a reason to vote for McCain other than the fact that he isn't Obama or Clinton, I would consider it.

A vote for any of the above is basically a vote for whoever wins in November, as your vote is meaningless, so unless you have no problem with an Obama or Clinton being in office, write in your vote.

I have to wonder if all the Bush bashers, and anti Bush people are going to give back that tax rebate check because it was Bush who gve it to them (It's never been done by any president before Bush).

So he's a christian who prefers a church who preaches africa, and wants to educate people not about Jesus but africa. This is what he prefers over christianity, africa. He's still looking pretty muslim.

The Democratic controlled Congress passed the rebates.

I don't consider any politician as having "given" me something when he/she is simply giving me back some of the money he/she took from me in the first place.
