Two weeks ago, Missouri broke into the Top 25 at #25, after beating Vanderbilt convincingly. Last week, after beating Georgia by nearly the same score as the Vanderbilt game, the Tigers leaped up to #14. Now, with the Florida win under their belts, firmly in control of the SEC East by a two-game margin, they break into the BCS discussion at #5. Wow! I'm on of the biggest Tiger fans around, but I never anticipated anything like this!

The football team isn't the only one on the MU campus that's unbeaten, either. The volleyball team just beat Georgia over the weekend to go 6-0 in the SEC and 22-0 on the season.

Auburn went from unranked to 24th to 11th in two weeks. Looks like it was a wild week all around.

How they are one spot behind Ohio State, who has won 19 straight, is beyond me.

Ohio State's strength of schedule isn't that good. It isn't even in the Top 25 of schedule rankings.

You'll have to look through a whole bunch of other schools to find OSU. They sit at #67. Missouri is #11, and is the only team in the Top 5 ranked that high. The Buckeyes will have a tough time making the BCS championship even if they stay undefeated.

Non conference, yes, but the conference schedule is not a walk in the park.

And yet, even with those games on the schedule, OSU is still #67 in strength of schedule. No offense, 'Dog, but the Big 10 ain't what it used to be. For that matter, if Missouri had done this in the Big 12, I doubt they'd be above #15 right now. Such is the power of the SEC. This is why we went there, to succeed at a higher level.

Missouri and Texas AM were good additions to the SEC. I'm a Vol fan and looking forward to Nov 2. Should be a good game, and TN owes Missouri a little bit of payback for the crazy win they had in Knoxville last year.

Mizzou is favored by 3 over South Carolina this evening. Makes me nervous. First time we've been a favorite this season in an SEC game.

I keep saying how surprising Missouri is, but you have to wonder if they're really all that surprising. To score 36 points on Florida's defense is impressive, but they did with the backup quarterback, freshman Maty Mauk. That says a lot about how good this Missouri team really is.
