If Romney does win, the thought has crossed my mind that Biden will face him in 2016 like Mondale did Reagan in 1984, since this is turning out to be 1980. (ie, the losing VP becomes the Presidential nominee next election). Assuming Romney keeps his promises on abortion and gay rights, I would see a landslide for Romney.

I think that will be good for your soul in case there is a 269-269 tie. Then you will have a Romney-Biden administration. You have the two Senate candidates in Missouri and Indiana to thank for that.

There you go again S/N! The Senate has no say in the event of a tie. The House will decide. Since the Republicans control more state delegations in the House and are expected to retain control Romney would win!
Franlkly if it is that close the democrats will steal the election. I believe Romney will win BIG!

I am hoping for a repeat of the 1980 election. As far as a tie goes, you do not the Vice-Presidency goes to the Senate, and the Presidency to the House.
Can you believe the nerve of democrats calling Bush dumb, and then letting this buffoon loose on the podiums of America ?
