Organized labor unions such as Teamsters, United Auto Workers, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, the Service Employees International Union, and affiliates of the National Education Association (and I assume the American Federation of Teachers) are threatening to strike in support of BLM. This would be against the economic interests of the nation during a worldwide pandemic not seen since 100 years ago and I am not sure that it would help Biden/Harris. I should think that police reform would be a local issue and not a federal matter.

Unions representing millions of workers, from teachers to truck drivers, pledged to ramp up protests in the leadup to the presidential election, with walkouts aimed at forcing local and federal lawmakers to pass police reform and address what they described as systemic racism.

Unions pledge walkoffs, job actions to support 'Black Lives Matter' before election

A strike at this time would damage the national economy during a unique pandemic and a time of crisis with daily riots nationwide. The backlash against labor would be severe and lasting. The UAW would be hurt the most because of the flimsy quality of American cars due to CAFE standards imposed by the government. Japanese cars would be purchased to throw the UAW out of work.
