Upswing in the Threads

In the past week or so, in the Baptist General Discussion and Baptist Theology, I have noticed a positive change in the threads. It seems that the threads are not only more civil, but the point, counter point is sticking to Scripture, stating their positions and moving on without the personal jabbing (which I am as guilty as anyone else). Has anyone else taken note?

We obviously are following your example. As you approach geezer-hood, you have mellowed, and it's reflected in your posts.

I do not expect this to be a long-running phenomenon, however. Some of our posters will reach a point where they simply cannot hold back any more, and off we'll go.

I have taken note that YOU are the primary culprit of a decided downturn in all of the threads in which you participate Mike. Throwing around terms such as "slime ball","POS","trash" and other choice unedifying tidbits works against the thesis of your sanctimonious OP.

Yes,indeed,I must. Hypocrisy is all too evident in his OP. He needs to be called out on it. Then he will respond with "You don't have the moral authority to ___ ____." His standard line when he doesn't have an honest answer.

Then do not do this in public, OK! Frankly I am sick & disheartened by this continuous bickering back & forth. And I know you two guys. And if I am sickened by it (its now infecting other threads & simultaneously) think of those who are lurking....what must they think? (See how these Christians HATE one another) !?! This is quite shameful behavior and it must stop.

Personally, if there haint no coal mining blood ..... some black lung in the family that ya vaguely remember.....yea well thats probably more Pennsylvania Coal Crackers but you get the drift.
