You need to know that RT is Russian government financed and controlled television.
Anything you get from RT is likely Russian propaganda. The Russian government is mocking the US military for their own purposes and you are sharing that opinion.

Our military becoming a laughing stock is obvious to all but the blind.

The future of the military seems to be focused heavily on technology not physical fitness.
Perhaps we can not fight a conventional war and win, but maybe we wont have to.
I also think regarding China, notice they make everything for us. Pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, semiconductor components, hardware.
We make about nothing, we buy it from overseas. Even for our energy industry, Biden is destroying our self reliance.
We are in no shape to fight any war with any major world powers, since we depend on them to supply most of our stuff.
China can walk in and take Taiwan, and what would we do about it? China has threatened Japan with nuclear annihilation if they support Taiwan in a war. We support Japan, but we would do nothing.
