What exactly are we fighting with venezuela about?
Venezuelan sanctioned shadow oil vessels transporting oil to terrorists and drug traffickers pushing dope into USA via a system of corruption involving high-ranking military and political officials known as the "Cartel of the Suns" (Cartel de los Soles).

This label originated from the "sun" insignia on Venezuelan generals' uniforms. U.S. officials allege the group is a "narco-terrorist" organization headed by Nicolás Maduro, while independent experts describe it more as a widespread system where officials profit by protecting drug shipments. The U.S. has designated this group as a terrorist organization.

Accused individuals include President Nicolás Maduro, National Assembly President Diosdado Cabello, and former head of military intelligence Hugo Carvajal. Many of these officials have been placed on the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list.

Venezuela is not a primary cocaine producer, but its strategic location makes it a significant transit country for cocaine originating in Colombia. Smugglers typically use "go fast" boats to transport drugs to the Caribbean or use commercial airliners to move products to Europe or intermediary countries like Mexico and Panama, where the cargo is then shipped to the U.S..

Are you concerned with the Venezuela/Russia league and Putin telling Maduro he will support him.

Trump seems to be tightening the screws and I guess we will see what happens.

@Charlie24 - Not worried at all. Putin cannot even win a war against the Ukraine.

The oil tanker was seized for allegedly being used to transport sanctioned oil from Venezuela and Iran, according to Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The tanker, called the Skipper, loaded an estimated 1.8 million barrels of oil earlier in December, before transferring an estimated 200,000 barrels just before its seizure.

The oil on the tanker is likely worth $60 million to more than $100 million, based on current average oil prices.

The boat strikes are viewed as part of a U.S. pressure campaign on Venezuela likely aimed to not only curb the flow of drugs, but also to oust dictatorial President Nicolás Maduro as leader of the oil-rich nation.

With respect to the oil and what happened yesterday, the Department of Justice requested and was approved for a warrant to seize a vessel because it's a sanctioned shadow vessel known for carrying black market sanctioned oil to the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps).

LOL, that was exactly my thoughts on Putin.

It puts financial strain on the Maduro government, which relies heavily on oil revenue to fund drug networks, thereby increasing the pressure for a regime change.

I would say that it is VERY good.
