France is still not on the list! Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!

 

France probably won't until we deliver the bodies of those killed by chemical weapons at their feet...


sorry, just venting a little. Once the existence of chemical weapons is undeniably clear, they'll kick in, imo. And it will probably change the scope of other european countries who are now in opposition or on the fence.

 

Actually, France has already stated they will join forces with us in the event chemical weapons are used.

The war has already started according to a link in the Current Events Forum. We have already dropped bombs.

 

Canada remains firm in its resolve that it will not enter direct engagement without UN Security COuncil backing.

It should be noted, however, that Canada has troops on the Iraqi-Kuwaiti border, ships on site and prepared against possible terrorist activity and we upped our troop reinforcements in Afghanistan, which frees up American troops there.

We are not opposed in isolation. We believe we will pay a price for our position, but we stand firm and accept the results as well.

I dont agree with much our Prime Minister does but he has got it right this time!!!

Our SAS troops are in the thick of it.

 

Singapore has just made it public, along with the Phillipine Islands. Many countries in the South Pacific are joining in the coalition.

On the news tonight they were interviewing Iraqi refugees in Australia. I was amazed to hear them say, that even if there was 1 000 000 casulties it would be worthwile, because if nothing was done there will be many more. Iraqi people are relating some of the most horrible stories I have heard about the brutality of the regime. Sometimes it is so horrible that it doesnt seem real. Yet we can see peace brought to our world. It is possible.
