    I'm not sure where to post this, so please feel free to move. I'm helping a pastor friend start up a church in his home. We need chairs, KJV bibles, and hymnals. Any idea how or where to get these either donated, or at a discount price?

    There are several places that offer pew Bible discounts. I did a Google on "pew Bible discount", and came up with several hits. I don't know how many you are buying, but I've seen the Holcomb Bible for $1 each by the case, but I can't find that link right now.

    IBS.org has KJV's for $4.99 each.

    If you're interested in the HCSB, which I think you can get for $1.00 each, try a search on "HCSB discount pew". I tried it, but something with my DNS server is preventing me from reading the results at the moment.

    Look for a convention in your area. They are usually good about donating to missionary churches.

    Is his church being supported by another church?

    Are you wanting them donated, or to purchase?

    If free, talk to the state associations, such as the SBC state office, and sometimes they will advertise in their weekly/monthly publication.

    You might also talk to your area's director of missions throughout the state to put it in their weekly/monthly publications.
