Van Jones Resigns Over Controversial Statements

It's about time.

Typical Washington apology, though:

As for his other comments he made before joining Obama's team, Jones said: "If I have offended anyone with statements I made in the past, I apologize."

And, I guess, it ain't nothing but a thing to Obama:

Jones issued an apology on Thursday. When asked the next day whether Obama still had confidence in him, White House press secretary Peter Griffin Robert Gibbs said only that Jones "continues to work in the administration."

Well, at least they know that citizens are watching...and that racist extremists with dangerous views will have the light shined on them.

Obama had to cut this fella loose...if he wants any credibility at all. A kook like Jones could make such damaging news as to make a presidency completely unsalvageable.

Obama had to know about Jones before he appointed him. The problem is how many more of the czars have the same background and views as Jones?

.

Now we know why Obama prefers the Czarist appointments.

Congressional committees looking into the backgrounds of the extremists he appoints as czars just won't do.

Unless they are as stupid as Jones, they can quietly continue their extreme socialist/communist/marxist agenda.

Van Jones will still be dangerous outside of the President's official staff. I think he's the type of person who will insist that rightwingers got to the President and forced him out. He'll insist that he was pressured to retract his controversial statements but that in-fact he still holds to them.

He'll go on speaking tours with lots of press coverage and then a book deal will be signed. Oprah will then want him on her show.

The sky's the limit with this guy.

It is instructive that Obama says he did not ask him to resign.

If he did and says he didn't , that would be no different than the other lies he constantly tells.

If he really did not ask him to resign, that tells us even more about how deep seated his own radicalism and racism is.

Absolutely! Anything other than:

" I made a grave error in my vetting process once again. I do not now nor have I have ever supported his radical positions. I repudiate them and would not have such a person on my staff. I am sorry for this error."

Shows Obama's radicalsim.
