VBS - Final results

VBS for our church is a large undertaking. But what an incredible week it was. From my view as the refreshment department head, here are a few numbers:

1800 Oreo cookies
900 Chips Ahoy
900 cups of coffee
14 cantaloupes
45 Entenmanns cakes
30 dozen bagels
50 lbs. grapes
10 lbs. cheese (for cheese and crackers)
85 gallons of lemonade
15 gallons iced tea

But the REAL numbers came in to the congregation on Sunday:

451 students registered
68.3% are from outside of our church
107 decisions for Christ
224+ volunteer workers
400 Kid to Kid soccer balls for South Africa
980 food items for a local food pantry
1000 attending the Friday night VBS fair

What a blessing to know how many children were touched in some way. We hear years later of how lives have been changed through someone's experience with VBS.
