Perhaps we should note the use of "little" here. So often in such cases, the reference is to a bygone time when the perpetrator really was little.

They try to take the focus off of what they were by the time of the incident. They'll even show photos of them at a much earlier age.

There is a pattern of propaganda concerning these shootings. Almost all are portrayed as great citizens, loved by their communities, that did nothing but good works.

These comments come out immediately to set the foundation for the discussion. Once widely accepted, it is difficult to change public opinion.

I suspect this is deliberately done by the attorneys and community organizers.
