Rare old clips of Jack Van Impe's accordion playing have aired on recent episodes of 'Jack Van Impe Presents.' Apparently Jack has had some physical challenges recently? He must be pushing 90. Anyone else remember the Van Impes' Fundamentalist crusade days? Jack could really work that squeezebox, and Rexella, what a warbler!

    Music starts around 05:55

I recall Jack Van Impe playing the accordion and Rexella singing, and him preaching at Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga in the 1970's.

I may have an old record with his or her music on it.

Since I attended a large fundamental Baptist church, we had "top drawer" evangelists and speakers. Often two-week (3 Sunday) meetings each day. Jack was there a couple times and a great draw with music and prophecy messages - both interesting and appealing to the unsaved we invited.

I even used my own $$ to buy a record of his sermon "The Coming War with Russia" (done around 1962 as I recall). Spurred me to invest more time memorizing Scripture

I remember my dad taking groups to hear them at crusades in Pittsburgh in the early 70's. He then dropped a bomb shell...He said he dated Rexella in college.

I attended his crusade in Richmond, VA - (1974?)
I also had his record - "Hell without Hell" (B4 I obtained it, I called Dr. Bob and he said it was okay to use my own money to purchase it!)
One day a Jehovah Witness came to my door - I let him in -Listened to him for a half hour - then I told him he had to listen to me for a half hour - and I played Jacks Record!

I have his book Revelation Verse-By-Verse....not sure if it's theologically sound...I only have the book and never finished it. LOL.

I read he actually memorized the entire Bible at one time.
