What precautions are you taking during the spread of the Wuhan Virus in America?

I'm retired at home so its easy for me.

Keep clean hands.
lots of vitamins.
using juice machine,
if i go out no touching face.
no physical contact.
don't use cash.

BAD ADVISE:
Aspirin and vitamins
Vitamins and aspirin are worthless against a virus.
Americans don't need vitamins; daily aspirin is for those with known heart disease.

GOOD ADVISE:
Wash your hands
Clean public surfaces with a disinfectant
Limit crowd exposure

If you think taking them will help you ward off a virus you’re sadly mistaken.

I went to buy alcohol and there was none. Not for the virus but for my cpap (I clean it with alcohol).

I plan on living my life, washing my hands, and apparently not going to any ballgames.

You might not want to, but you can go to the Liquor store and buy Everclear or another similar high proof clear spirit and it will sanitize as good as isopropyl.

I wonder if white vinegar would work as well?

You know, I have made some changes.

I guess I am more aware. I think about how many people used door handles (especially when leaving the bathroom) and how clean tables and utensils are at restaurants. And who breathed on my hamburger.

Yesterday I thought about how nasty the ketchup bottles must be.

I wash my hands more.

how do you know? although I'm not taking any chances the vitamins are elements to strengthen my immune system.

i am in the highest risk factor sector, 77 years old with a pace maker (tick-tock).

You keep that immune system strong Hank! It is what puts up the fight against the invaders, for you.

Since I don’t eat breakfast cereals and other problems, I do take a multivitamin to increase my vitamin D.

That being said, I agree that vitamins have little to do with fighting disease.
