WAIT FOR YOUR GOD.

Hosea 12.6
6.Therefore, return to your GOD, observe kindness and justice, and wait for your GOD continually.

Patience very often mentioned in the Bible and impatience also. Patience often reward with all sorts of goodness, and impatience causes only troubles and problems.

In their impatience people trying to predict future and even time of a certain event and our world full of these "prophets" who predicting coming of Jesus Christ and the end of the world constantly but it seems never got it right. But even more surprising that these false prophets have following.

Wait for the Lord literally means wait for Him without knowing then He will come.

In other words - to be always on alert and on guard.

The Bible precisely, accurately, and exactly specified that the time and place of certain events are not known to men, until GOD Himself reveal them at appropriate time.

Below some examples of such teaching.

Matthew 24.44
44."For this reason you be ready too, the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will."
(Matthew 24.42-44, 25.13) (Mark 13.32-33) (Luke 12.40, 21.36) (Revelation 16.15)

Mark 13.23.32-33.37
23."But be alert, I have already told you everything.
32.But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
(Matthew 24.36) (Mark 13.32)

33.Take heed, keep on the alert, you do not know when the appointed time is.
(Matthew 24.42-44, 25.13) (Mark 13.32-33) (Luke 12.40, 21.36) (Revelation 16.15)

37.And what I say to you I say to all, be on the alert!"
(Mark 13.34-37) (Luke 12.36-38)

Luke 12.37
37."Blessed are those slaves whom the master finds alert when He comes, truly I tell you, he will fasten his belt and have them sit down to eat, and he will come and serve them."

1Thessalonians 5.2-3.6
2.You yourselves know full well, that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
3.While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" (Jeremiah 6.14, 8.11) (Ezekiel 13.10) (1Thesalonians 5.3) Then destruction will come upon them suddenly, like birth pangs upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape. (Isaiah 2.12) (Joel 1.15, 2.1.10-11) (Zephaniah 1.7.14-16) (Zechariah 13.1-2)

6.So then, let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.

(Isaiah 13.9-10, 34.4) (Ezekiel 32.7-8) (Joel 2.10-11.31, 3.14-15) (Matthew 24.29-44, 25.13) (Mark 13.24-37) (Luke 12.39-40, 21.34-36) (1Thessalonians 5.2-3.6) (Revelation 3.3, 6.12-14, 16.15)

Revelation 16.15
15."See, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake (Isaiah 13.9-10, 34.4) (Ezekiel 32.7-8) (Joel 2.10-11.31, 3.14-15) (Matthew 24.29-44, 25.13) (Mark 13.24-37) (Luke 12.39-40, 21.34-36) (1Thessalonians 5.2-3.6) (Revelation 3.3, 6.12-14, 16.15), and is clothed not going about naked and exposed to shame."

Luke 17.3-4
3."Be on your guard! If another disciple sins, you must rebuke the offender, and if there is repentance, you must forgive.
4.And if the same person sins against you seven times a day, and turns back to you seven times and says, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive."

Luke 21.34-36
34."Be on guard, that your hearts may not be weighted down with dissipation, and drunkenness, and the worries of life, and that day come on you suddenly like a trap.
35.It will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the Earth.
(Matthew 24.42-44, 25.13) (Mark 13.32-33) (Luke 12.40, 21.36) (Revelation 16.15)

36.But keep on alert at all times, praying, in order that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."

1Corinthians 16.13
13.Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.

18.Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always preserve in supplication for all the saints.

Colossians 4.2
2.Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.

1Peter 5.8
8.Discipline yourselves, keep alert. Like a roaring lion your adversary the Devil prowls around looking for someone to devour.
