Walker Lindh Bashed in Jail.

That's terrible. If he would have been shot on the spot as a traitor like he should have been this wouldn't have happened.

Pick me, pick me! YES I AM! I seriously don't understand why he is still allowed to live. Find a traitor, shoot a traitor. Simple as that, and vigilante justice isn't always a bad thing, as is obvious in this case.
THIS CASE. Not all cases, or even a tenth of cases. THIS CASE.

Walker should have been tried for treason immediately and executed. He wasted too much taxpayer dollars already.

He is the classic case of a liberal.

 

What has surprised me most about this story is that his lawyer apparently asked that the boy be put into the general population, for reason of helping him with some sort of appeal.

Now what was that lawyer thinking? That boy needs to be in isolation, if only for his own good.

Now I know I am going to get into trouble for saying this, but I will anyway. I do not consider John Walker Lindh to be a traitor, at least in the traditional sense. No, I do not believe that he actively betrayed the USA, nor do I believe that he was directly involved in the death of that CIA officer. He was, however, an immature kid raised in the liberal Californian culture, where anything goes as long as it helps you "find yourself." He reminds me of those "Sandalistas," ie. young liberal kids who think that it is so cool to be a part of some Central or South American "revolucion," only to find oneself "holding the bag" once the authorities close in. Like that gal in Peru.

John Walker Lindh simply got in way over his head and now I am sure he regrets it all. But still, he must pay the price for his foolishness in getting involved in something like the Taliban and Al-Quaida, and he is indeed.

John Walker Lindh deserves a fair trial just like anyone else. As much as I'd love to say "let the guy rot", I'm not in favor of armchair justice, or in this case, jailhouse vigilantiism.

 

He shouldn't be in jail. He should already be dead. Shot by a military tribunal. Cheap, efficient, over quickly. He took arms against the U.S.

I wish everyone would wake up.

Question for all the liberals.

What do you think the taliban (or most other countries in this world for that matter) would do to one of their own who became a traitor? I'll help ya out.....They'd kill him on the spot. No questions asked.

I live not too far away from the country club...er....prison where he is being kept. He's got it good comapred to how he chose to live in Afghanistan.

He's reaping the fruit of his choices. And I don't buy the "helpless little boy" garbage. I was born and raised in CA and I love my country, the United States of America. God bless America!

 

A traitor is a traitor. He has it easy as do all of our criminals. While I think the prisoners who assulted him should be punished for it, he is a criminal and deserves to be treated as a criminal.
