The Walt Disney Company and Walmart announced a new policy on Friday that will require nearly every employee working for the company in the United States to be vaccinated against the CCP virus.

My company has taken a different approach. They are passing on a $1,200 surcharge on health insurance premiums for next year's open enrollment for those who are not vaccinated. It seems capricious to me. How about those who do not get the influenza or shingles vaccines? No surcharges for those individuals?

No. But that is fair.

In general I like to let the employer determine their requirements and then be held responsible for their decisions.

When I worked in a hospital there were certain vaccines I had to keep current. I did not have to work in the hospital. But I could not refuse the vaccinations and still work there.

But I typically do not watch the news or keep up with business issues. Those things get in the way of fishing...not that I've been fishing lately - but I've been thinking about fishing a lot.

Oh yea, I’ve been reading that there are long term health consequences to these vaccines ... even effecting the brain in addition to the heart & lungs. My argument is that America needs to hold big Pharma and the health care industry accountable. Just study how Johnson & Johnson is coping with their court cases... not so good.

What is really missing in this mix to fight these viruses is anti-inflammatory drugs, which should be really easy to address. Why this isn’t being addressed is unfathomable! The citizens need to be clamoring... I repeat CLAMORING for additional health care products to address critical situations.
