Was/is Stalin right? Are these the things that has held America together and will it collapse without them?
Have these things been undermined? If so by whom?

Stalin was nothing but a mass murderer like Fidel Castro and Raul Castro and Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, etc. They are all criminals. Like James Bond told one of those types in fiction once when he said that he was the greatest mind in the world, Bond told him: correction, the greatest criminal mind in the world.
Except it's a made up quote...
Stalin was nothing but a mass murderer like Fidel Castro and Raul Castro and Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, etc. They are all criminals.
Stalin was nothing but a mass murderer like Fidel Castro and Raul Castro and .......ld.
To be fair, Hitler and Stalin (and you can add Mao and Pol Pot) were in a league of their own. The Castros and Mussolini may have been mass murderers, but they paled in comparison to the former.
So if he were still alive, Hollywood liberals would be visiting him and praising him?
From reading this thread one might get the notion that it's better to focus our attention on Stalin's psychopathy rather than look at the psychopathy of our own leaders.

Be careful you're not playing the "moral equivalency" card. (Speaking as a husband of a Russian emigre) That's not to say our pols aren't guilty of various and sundry actions. But, Stalin and his system of authoritarianism make our pols look like a bunch of toddlers.
So it appears. Can anyone provide a source for this nugget of wisdom?
So, I'm not letting them off the hook. That's not to say our pols aren't guilty of various and sundry actions.
Are you suggesting that we ignore the growing authoritarianism in our own system because authoritarianism was much worse in Stalin's system?
Sounds to me like you and some others here are the ones playing the "moral equivalency" card.
Did George Washington and Thomas Paine say "Boy howdy, if you think we have it bad here in the English colonies just look what they're going through in the Spanish colonies"?
No, you read what you wanted to read. So you missed the middle sentence:So, I'm not letting them off the hook.
