When the Devil was speaking to God about Job - was he inside the Gates of Heaven?

I do not believe the sons of God mentioned in Job were angels. I believe they were the elect, as were the sons of God mentioned in Genesis 6.

it was merely a group of what we would call Saints that were gathering together at their worship place on the earth and the presence of God would come to them as he does in what we call Church(Building)as his people worship him.

Exactly! Cain "went out from the presence of the Lord" (Gen 4:16), the exact terminology used of Satan in Job. Was he also in the "throne room of God"?
