Lou Dobbs said that the police probably saved a lot of lives by taking that thug down by whatever means possible.

But don't you know some ambulance chasing lawyer will try to sue the department for this guy and cry racist.

They should charge the suspect with damaging government property, specifically a police car, and endangering the officer driving the car by the suspect's disobeying a police order to surrender.

Great move by the police. Much safer for everyone than a gun battle.

Exactly! What would he do less excessive? Pull up and honk his horn or hoping this idiot might give him a second and park and get out first?

What if a road rage situation happens to you and the person gets out of their car and points a gun at you? Wouldn't you use your car as a weapon of deadly force to mow them down if need be?

I hear people up in arms about this but I wonder if they realize one of the main options that the police have to neutralize a suspect who is an active shooter. This at least gave the man a chance to live.

I strongly suspect that the "up in arms" people are mostly those who have absolutely no knowledge of the situation, and/or are paid (six-pack, carton of cigs, etc) demonstrators that have zilch knowledge of why they are protesting.:BangHead:

Which, incidentally, I believe is the case for the majority of demonstrators?!?!
