Former Pro NFL greats who are honored every time another is added to their ranks are telling the NFL powers that be, we will boycott all future Hall Of Fame induction ceremonies if heath and insurance needs are not met... We built this game and sacrificed our bodies in the process... We have been told ever since we put on this uniform that the NFL is family and it is time for this NFL family who is raking in billions to take care of their own... As one who watches football, I agree... The following is the link... Your thoughts... Brother Glen:)

Pro Football Hall of Famers, seeking health insurance, could boycott future ceremonies

Grown men playing games. If they want employer paid health insurance, get a job like the rest of us did.

People are paying big money to watch (or show) grown men playing games, and where the cash trough is deep, everyone wants to put their hands in. That said, the minimum wage in the NFL is somewhere north of $400k, so everyone on an NFL roster is well within the top 1% of US wage earners and with some intelligent/disciplined money management ought to be doing just fine.

They sacrificed nothing, and their goal was their own fame and fortune.

Thank you brethren for your input and I see your points and won't argue with them... Seems to me now that you mentioned it they could have gotten personal insurance when they had the money, but that is the NFL's problem and not mine... I've never had a bank account in the seven figure category.. I guess they can borrow the terrible Steeler's yellow towel and cry in it... Brother Glen:D
