    Hey everyone -

    Anyone know how to webcast a wedding? I'm getting married in 39 days and the people responsible for taking my pictures and webcasting my wedding closed their business with no warning. Now I have no one to do it. The wedding is in West Columbia, TX on August 6th... in 39 DAYS! Anyone have any ideas? I really wanted to do this because I have so many in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and other places overseas that will be unable to make it. This seemed like a great answer. Let the ideas flow!

    Thanks for your help... I'm really flustered as for what to do now!

    There are a number of simple solutions, depeneding on what quality you want. Any internet stuff is going to be lower quality and jumpy unless you and your recipients have broadband connections.

    For dial up go looking on the web for video conferencing software (comes with many computer cameras now days) or you might search for security software as there are a number of programs that allow you to transmitted security camera video to the net.

    A more pleasant experience for the folks might be to have someone video tape the wedding and transfer it to cdroms and mail them.

    Hope others have better ideas for you.

    Any other help? I found a site that will host the webcast for $300. Any other ideas?
