    The first preseason game of the 2004 season is here and gone, and the Redskins were happy about the outcome. After Denver tied the score late, Washington went right back down the field, led by QB Tim Hasselbeck, and took home a 20-17 victory in the Hall of Fame game.

    He came back and won the first exhibition game of the pre-season by a field goal. Wow, it really takes a Hall of Fame coach to do that!

    Big oaks from little acorns grow! I'll say one thing for Gibbs: he has the oldest coaching staff I've seen in a while. ;) :D

    As a jaded Redskin fan, I'm excited by Gibbs return. Preseason game scores mean nothing, but the performance of the players means much. Hopefully during the rest of the preseason JG can get the team ready for the real games in Sept.

    I have not been a big NFL fan, but I'll be following Coach Gibbs and Redskins. Go Washington! ESPN did a great "Outside the Lines" peice on him and his faith.
