What Angels are NOT

Ch 2 ANGELS ARE NOT

NOT OMNIPRESENT

Like satan’s demons, an angel can’t be everywhere like God’s Holy Spirit. In Daniel 10, the messenger angel was hindered 21 days. 12 "Don't be afraid, Daniel," he said to me, "for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your prayers were heard. I have come because of your prayers. 13 But the [demon] prince of the kingdom of Persia opposed me for 21 days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me after I had been left there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I have come to help you understand what will happen to your people in the last days, for the vision refers to those days."Dan 10:12-14 Nasb

NOT OMNISCIENT

Angels know more than man but less than God. About the rapture of the tribulation saints, Jesus said in Matt 24:36 “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, NOT THE ANGELS of heaven, but my Father only.”

NOT OMNIPOTENT
They are stronger than man, but not omnipotent. Describing false teachers in 2 Peter 2:10 [they are] “Bold, arrogant people! They do not tremble when they blaspheme the glorious ones; 11 however, angels, who are greater in might and power, do not bring a slanderous charge against them before the Lord.” hcb

MARRY NOT

Jesus said that angels are not glorified human beings. “28 In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had married her.”29 Jesus answered them, “You are deceived, because you don’t know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they [God’s children] neither marry nor are given in marriage but are LIKE angels in heaven.” Mat 22:28-30 hcb

When humans die, they do NOT become angels. NOTICE: They are “...LIKE angels…” Jesus explains that they do not reproduce like humans,

Since the seven had married her?” Again, the Pharisees attempted to trick Jesus 24 Jesus told them, “Are you not deceived because you don’t know the Scriptures or the power of God? 25 For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are LIKE angels in heaven.” Mark 12 hcb

ANGELS DO NOT PROCREATE

They are NOT feminine but sexless,in Matt 28:30 Jesus said “For in the resurrection they [God’s children] neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are AS THE ANGELS of God in heaven.” Matt 28:30

When we are resurrected, our glorified body like Jesus’ will not procreate children.

Mark 12:25 “For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are AS the angels which are in heaven.” When God’s children arrive in heaven in bodies like Jesus’, we will not birth children. I believe that we will all be like Jesus, 33, and not equipped to have children.

DO NOT DIE

Jesus, answering a question about what we (God’s-children) will be like in the resurrection in Luke 20:35 “But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world (heaven), and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they [God’s children] die any more: for they are equal (in immortality) unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”

I agree with much of your post, sir, and commend you for its being well-thought-out and presented.
My only misgivings would be in the below, where I've inserted a couple of numbered responses :
Jesus, answering a question about what we (God’s-children) will be like in the resurrection in Luke 20:35 “But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world (heaven) 1, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they [God’s children] die any more: for they are equal (in immortality) 2 unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”
Jesus said,

" ....The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
but they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him."
( Luke 20:34-38 )

Here's what I see and understand when I read this passage, given information from other places in His word:

The saints will be as the angels, neither marrying nor giving in marriage.
Marriage, which God intended to create families and populate the earth, will have no place in Heaven nor on the new earth. They will also not experience death a second time, as they have been resurrected to live forever more.

Therefore, the Lord is a God of the living ( those that have been made to partake of the first resurrection unto life ), not of the "dead" ( those who will be resurrected during the second resurrection to be judged and cast into the Lake of Fire, see Revelation 20 ).

In addition,

1) in the passage listed, I see "that world" that accompanies the first resurrection from the dead which all of His saints will be present for ( Revelation 20:1-6 ) as being:

A) The world that the Lord Jesus will take over when He comes down from Heaven and rules and reigns over the earth for a thousand years...His saints ruling and reigning with Him as prophesied in Zechariah and other places.
He will reign from His father David's throne at Jerusalem, and we will rule and reign on the earth with Him.

B) "That world" that is then given up to the Father, burned up and replaced by new heavens and a new earth...upon which will sit the New Jerusalem which comes down from Heaven, and which His people shall inherit and occupy forever ( Revelation 21:1-27, 22:1-5 )

2) According to the Scriptures, the angels are greater than men both in power and in might ( 2 Peter 2:11 ), as well as being immortal.
The Lord telling us that His saints shall be equal to them, seems to me to include a bit more than just living forever in glorified bodies that shall never get sick, never have pain and shall never die.

Other than those two details coming to mind, I found your post very informative.

Thank you, and may God bless you.
