Physically...his biceps...I like physically strong men. (I also like strong chins and hands)

Personality....He has a quiet but strong take charge demeanor. He doesn't ever complain, blame, gossip, or belittle...he believes it to be unmanly...and so do I. He's inherantly good and thinks the best of people. He's got a good work ethic and knows what is important in life...namely family and God. He's dependable and I feel safe with him.

Ultimately what made me go out with him the first time...Was His smile...it was very sincere.

His great smile and big muscles, and his sence of humor.
Not his job or his clothes.

    [insert standard "I'm not married, but . . . " disclaimer]

If a man doesn't have presence, I'm not likely to pursue him further.

The man I'm dating now has that (among other things), and it's extremely attractive. [IMG]

I'm not married, but currently interviewing. If anyone knows any worthy candidates, please send them my way. ;)

What attracted me to my husband?

His love for our Lord Jesus, personal appearance, gentleness, compassion, intelligence, knowledge, and humor. His presence demands respect wherever he goes. [IMG]

When I was dating him, I tried to find something wrong with him. When discussing this with my daughter, she said, " I know what is wrong with him, Mother. He is too good to be true"

He hasn't fallen off that pedestal yet ;)

He will be embarrassed if he reads this.

The Youth at our church say that he is a cool guy ;)

First attraction: Okay I'll be honest, it was his good looks and his muscles.

I met him at church but if he hadn't been a looker I wouldn't have given him a second glance.

He's honest too, his first attraction to me was the lower half of my reverse side (my rear end).

Oh well we love each other dearly and we serve the Lord together. I'm past the "etherial stuff" and I'm real. If a man is asked by another man what attracted him to his wife, he would probably tell them something physical.

The answer to that is simple.
If a man IS, but no woman is around, he still needs
to learn to say "I'm sorry."

I don't know Jimmy. I think you're perfectly lovely (if you can apply that word to a man) I haven't a clue why. Why do you think it is?

Maybe you just haven't met the right one yet.

You see? You are just too sweet. There's really no other way to put it.

I just hope that who ever lands you one day...knows how lucky she is. Okay I'll stop..lest this mutual appreciation thing make other people gag. :D

Another unmarried female checking in with a somewhat brief list of criteria of my "perfect" man:
    - sense of humor (preferably one as strange as mine)
    - similar political/religious views (or at least not ones that are directly in opposition to mine on particular issues)
    - someone who enjoys going out to do the same type of things I enjoy (plays, good movies, lectures, and other cultural type things) but can also enjoy a quiet evening in
    - someone who is secure enough to give me my space (I've ended relationships with otherwise nice guys who smothered me with wanting to spend too much time together)

I try to fill a spot that has been empty in my life for four years; it has been that long since the woman I was going to married dumped me. But this is an area of my life I feel that God has given me a victory in lately. I feel that I have done too much in my own power(on line dating, for example) to find another girlfriend. During these past four years it has been often hard to acknowledge that I am single after preparing myself to become married. But I feel that I don't need to impress others--or God--by having a "significant woman" in my life.

Saggy, does this answer your question?
