As he described in Colosians 2?
"Because that, when they knew God,
they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful;
but became vain in their imaginations,
and their foolish heart was darkened."
As he described in Colosians 2?
I don't see that phrase in Colossians 2. What translation are you using?
I am not sure what verses you are referring to. Is this it?
Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Paul says that we were dead in our own sins here. I don't see any mention of being dead in Adam, do you?
In fact, the Bible NEVER says we are dead in Adam. There is only one time in all of scripture that the Bible says "in Adam"
1 Cor 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
This is the only time the term "in Adam" is ever used in the Bible, check and see for yourself. This verse does not say we are dead in Adam, it says "in Adam all DIE".
This is not speaking of spiritual death and being unable to be willing to respond to God. This entire chapter is speaking of the resurrection of our physical bodies. So, "in Adam all die" is speaking of physical death only.
