Maybe this is just a problem that I have, but over the course of a day, I feel as if I get so caught up in things, that I forget about God.

I downloaded this for my internet browser http://newsdailynow.com/2015/11/21/daily-bible/ The thought is that I am on my computer hours a day, so it will always be in my sight, and I can look through passages if I need a break from whatever I am doing.

Do you all think that is a good idea, or is it bad that I need a reminder like this?

I look forward to hearing your advice, thanks.

Larry, I see that you have this same website spammed all over the internet - at least four pages that I could find - and a wide and unusual variety of topics, not just bibles. Are you here to promote a website that you are connected to? If so, just be forthright and say so.

You've told us here in the introduction that you've been following us for a while and decided to join. That's exactly what you said in the other bible forum this morning and on a couple of the other websites I saw you posting on.

On the other bible forum where you posted this exact same OP this morning, one of the moderators there opened the link and his computer virus protector told him to get off that site.

I take time everyday to pray and to thank God for all that I have been blessed with in life. I talk to him throughout the day when I am struggling. I read verses from the Bible every morning before I get out of bed and I read the Bible every nigh before I turn out the lights at the end of the day. God is with me always.

There must be times during the day in which one renews the mind by contemplating not only on the Scriptures but reflecting upon the goodness of God.

Personally, I like the phrase, "it pleased God" followed by a short reflection upon the happenings as a reminder that nothing touches the believer's life, living or path that is not pre-approved by God and ultimately for our benefit.

One either trusts that "... God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose," or we don't.

Doing those things that you feel take away your focus from God, for God and His glory can alleviate this. Also set times for prayer, study, and always be looking for a way to serve someone else for God's glory throughout each day. Be faithful to prayer times, study times, and serving God. What you will discover is that so many other things we need to think and do seem to almost fall out of our obedience to these things.
