    My son has rapid heartbeat (100, resting) and restless leg syndrome and might be medically retired from the USAF but he has Federal Agent status so I suggested that if that happens, why not join the FBI ?

    He looked at me as if (1)I needed to see a shrink, or (2) I were not his father, or (3) both.

    Reading the above and recalling the blunders that led to 9/11, I think I understand why, unless the above is a case of the usual law enforcement tactic of "scratch my back, I scratch yours" sometimes used on criminal investigations and "assets" to produce more information.

    I don't know.
