THE QUALITY and CALIPER of "Servitude"
that ESAU is said to be UNDER
by; "The elder shall serve the younger,"
PROVES to be a TYPE of SERVITUDE in a SPIRITUAL SENSE
being EXPRESSED that ESAU was SUFFERING and was UNDER,
RELATIVE to JACOB, in The REALM of The SPIRIT.
"For example,
that SENSE of SPIRITUAL SERVITUDE ESAU SUFFERED UNDER,
that is spoken of by saying, the "elder shall serve the younger,"
"was ESAU'S SPIRITUAL EXCLUSION,
from The SPIRITUAL Favour of God, and SPIRITUAL Blessings of Grace,
signified by:
Esau's having been Rejected from Inheriting those SPIRITUAL Blessing,

"RELATIVE to JACOB, in The REALM of The SPIRIT,
because those SPIRITUAL Favours
and Blessings of God were Given to Jacob;
"AND it appeared that Esau was not a son, but a Servant,
by Jacob's departure, and pitching his dwelling elsewhere;
"WHICH SHOWED Esau had no interest in Spiritual Adoption,
no right to The Spiritual Covenant of Grace,
nor was Esau an Heir of Heaven,
all which were peculiar to Jacob:
"WHEREBY, apart from Possessing those Spiritual Blessings,
Esau was a Servant of sin, who was under the SERVITUDE
and dominion of sin, and in bondage to sin;
"WHILE, Jacob was SPIRITUALLY BLESSED to be the Lord's Freeman, and,
as a Prince, had Spiritual Power with God and with men, and prevailed:
AND it is in that way that Esau is seen again
to be in both Temporal and Spiritual SERVITUDE,
therefore, it must be concluded that Esau was Serviceable to Jacob,
"AND IT ALSO IN THAT SENSE that Reprobates are Serviceable to the Elect,
because all things that happen are for their sakes
and work together for their TEMPORAL and SPIRITUAL GOOD;
"AGAIN, another example
was when Jacob's was obliged to flee from his brother,
and that may be clearly demonstrated
as having been for Jacob's SPIRITUAL GOOD,
"SINCE, it was by this means Jacob got him a suitable wife,
and a large substance:
as well as his brother Esau's meeting him on Jacob's return,
while it did give Jacob much pain and uneasiness,
it issued and resulted in Jacob's Spiritual Good;
this pain and uneasiness that Jacob experienced,
sent him to The Throne of Grace,
to humble himself before God, acknowledge His Mercies,
and Jacob's Dependence on God, and to implore God's Help,
and plead God's Promises;
"and thus the Oracle spoken to Rebekah, in Romans 9:12,
when God "said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger",
was ABSOLUTELY VERIFIED in the persons and lives of Jacob and Esau,
as we've seen;
"the elder" was SUBJECTED UNDER the SERVITUDE of "the younger",
within The ABSOLUTE SPIRITUAL REALITY
that ESAU and JACOB EXPERIENCED in the REALM of GOD, WHO is SPIRIT.
