What happened to the thread "Co-redemptrix - the Mother of your Living Salvation!"? Was it moved? was it deleted? I was getting to the point explaining why Catholics hold to the Marian doctrines; not simply out of loyalty and honor due the mother of Jesus (while those are good reasons on their own) but to her role in God's plan for our salvation; she literally as well as spiritually bore your salvation.
It’s really simple, ignore it and you lose salvation, recognize her role and all of soteriology is opened to us; she literally magnifies the Lord. There are three reasons we rightly hold to the preservation of Mary’s virginity, beyond truth itself. Mary is virgin because the Word of God she bore without violation, is without corruption proceeding from the heart, without corruption to the body of the Word of God, her Son. Hence, it is necessity for the salvation of all Christians to recognize the doctrine of perpetual virginity of Mary. The Incarnate Word requires that Mary be preserved in her birth to preserve Christ, the Word of God, from the stain of sin. Hence it is a necessity for the doctrine of Immaculate Conception of Mary; else God is born of the flesh of sin inheriting sin and the punishment of Adam’s sin and the Word proceeds from the mouth of sin. Lastly, and equally important, that God should allow Mary to suffer dishonor else, the Word of God is diminished. Hence the doctrine of Mary the Mother of God and the assumption of Mary into heaven is necessary for your salvation as well.
