What happened?

The past few weeks as I've read the bb, it seems like we've quit arguing and now we're spending more time laughing and acting like (GASP!) friends! What happened?

Here's my theory: We've finally exhausted all the Cal/Arm debates (for now, anyway) we're tired of politics, the weather is turning dreary and we've realized the need for more lighthearted conversation. Or is it that we're getting older and too tired to fight?

I say this with tongue in cheek of course. It's just nice to see such calm, tame discussion here lately. Now that I've gotten that off my chest, we can pull out the rollin' pins and fryin' pans and commence to thumping each other again.

Yeah, I've noticed... it is down right boring!!!
Well you might be getting older... :tonofbricks:

I have a theory, all the trouble makers were banned...
And all others are scared to join.... because they know we are right.

Of course, I might be Wro...Wron.....Wron.....WR...WROn.....

ER.... Not right as much as I usually am!

Finally we proved the truth of OSAS = Once
Saved (by Jesus), Always Saved (by Jesus)!

Romans 8:35-37 (Geneva Bible, 1599 Edition):
Who shall separate vs from the loue of Christ?
shall tribulation or anguish, or persecution,
or famine, or nakednesse, or perill, or sworde?
36 As it is written, For thy sake are
we killed all day long: we are counted
as sheepe for the slaughter.

37 Neuerthelesse, in all these
thinges we are more then coquerours
through him that loued vs.

Since my op was in a debate section, maybe we should debate if TinyTim is wrong or not. Should a Baptist ever admit to being wrong?:saint:

exactly why I haven't been posting a lot lately.

who wants to laugh ?

more fun to fight.

only one out there to fight with is skypair, and he won't stay down....keeps getting up.

reminds me too much of somebody I know who beat the town bully where I grew up. Bully knocks him down five times in a row, nose all bloodied up, lips covering half his face, black eye as big as the red circle around the eye of that dog in the target commercial, and he keeps getting up and asks: want some more ?

Bully wouldn't tangle with him anymore after that.

got an idea: wanna rassle ?

It was the chicken jokes. The minute you go in for planting chickens and post holes life changes. :flower: :flower: :flower:

Maybe they are holding a Calvinist convention somewhere, and they cannot get to their computer.
That's not the only hot topic though. Let's talk about women wearing pants or Bible versions.

I don't know about anybody else, but I've been praying for my friends here at the BB...even those who don't like me.

Thank you for your prayers web.

Just a quick question. What do you ask of God when you pray for me?
