Kind of freaky because when I read the captions I can hear Obama's voice playing.
Of course…..Rankin’s was the only Congressional vote against the U.S. entering the WWII…..and Rankin was the first woman elected to Congress…….and Hilary wants to be the first woman elected President…..(but Rankin was Republican....oh....wait....but so was Hilary)

With any luck if he had been president back then, he would have been on his extended HOLIDAY vacation in Hawaii. Just as luck would have it, he would have been visiting one of those boats, lets say the Arizona, around 7 in the morning. Otherwise we would be speaking German and Japanese these days.

Mr. Vice President and the esteemed members of the press:
Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 – in a date which will comes but once a year -- the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately confronted by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.

The United States has forcefully sought political dominance among the free people of the islands and have maintained an abusive national presence in the Hawaiian Islands. At the solicitation of Japan; we were in conversation with its government and are looking toward the eventual suspension and withdraw of our abusive colonizing forces.

Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing of the American occupying forces on the island of Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to our Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message. This reply stated that it seemed useless to continue our existing colonial presence and contained no threat or hint of war or of armed attack.
In response, I will execute an executive order to deliberately seek a resolution of this conflict. We will withdraw from the islands and send in 100 peacekeepers to assess and assist the native islanders in their battle against our foreign occupation as an expression of hope for peace.

The event yesterday on the Hawaiian Islands has caused merited damage to American naval and military forces. I regret to tell you that we deserved this punishment by our very presence there.

Japan has undertaken a tremendous extending presence over their people throughout the Pacific area. The facts of yesterday and today speak for themselves. We, the people of the United States have already formed opinions and well understand the implications and will do our best to restore peace with the native Japanese population and assist them in their activities.

I'll be leaving immediately to vacation... ahh ... assess the situation shortly. We will also free up funds to allow emergency repairs to thier shipping and golfing facilities.

Barak Obama, 1941

The only thing you might have missed Deacon, was the Billions of dollars he would be sending to Japan to help them with their Nuclear Weapons Plan.

The 3 Stooges and Fleischer Studios would have had a field year.
