Just figured I'd ask that question...do you play any musical instruments?

I've played piano for around 10-12 years and been playing bass guitar for around 5 months. I play very little acoustic guitar but want to learn.

Yes, I've been playing piano since I was around 10. I played trumpet in high school, and I still know how, though it's been over 12 years and I would have to get my embouchure back in shape.

I also started to learn to play acoustic guitar about a month ago. This is something I have been wanting to do for about 5 years, and finally put my money where my mouth is and bought an instrument. Unfortunately, the experience was short-lived; I loaned it to a friend for a church service two weekends ago (he was having trouble with his), and it was stolen from the church the next morning. I'll be buying a replacement in a week or so.

    I play the guitar!

I've been learning a whole lot of good stuff lately too. I also play the piano and I want to learn the Cello or Bass.

Thanks for asking! Played classical guitar in my younger years. Now I am playing with the 10-stringed instrument for the glory of God. [IMG]

I played the trombone as a yunker. However, it wound up in the hands of my college trombone teacher's son (he needed an instrument and I could not justify paying the hundred or so dollars it would cost to bring the thing up to my then playing level). I was going to retreive it when I got back on campus. Fifteen years later, I'm back in Watertown and come to find out my poor instrument got stolen while it was on a college missions trip to the Republic of South Africa. :(

Can't afford a replacement. So, I am content with playing a mean kazoo

Piano for 33 years. Trombone for 29 years, though I understand Ransom's comment about the embouchure! LOL! Ouch! :D

Are those consecutive years Daniel, or overlapping? For if the former, it would make you an ancient. ;)

Trombone? Isn't that also called a sliding tone approximator?

I play an acoustic guitar, a martin model oo15.

A few years ago (well, maybe more than a few) I played the bass and soprano clarinets and the tenor saxophone. (The episode with the bass drum will be conveniently forgotten.)

I painstakingly taught myself to play one song -- "Jesus Lover of My Soul" -- on the piano; I always wished I could play.

I didn't play the clarinet much after high school until my daughter took up the instrument. Talk about pain.

I am slowly learning to play the guitar. I enjoy playing it and am trying to get the courage up to play at my church. My guitar is a classical guitar.

Since my embouchure is gone (along with my breath control), now I play the CD and the radio. :D
