I found a very interesting web page

It starts out like this:

Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy that arose in the Age of Enlightenment. The English philosopher John Locke is often credited with founding liberalism.
Liberals, as the name would suggest, believe in liberty.

If that was true at the beginning - well it certainly has changed over the years.

If this were, & it would likely never be, a conservative, the calls for resignation & the harshest punishment would have already ensued. Instead we have to go overseas to even see the story. Liberty is the farthest thing the liberal stands for today.
