Is it the birth of a child, recovery from cancer, finding a parking space at the front entrance of the shopping mall, inheriting a million dollars or is it something completely out of the norm and explicable? What is a Biblical definition?

Let me see if I can remember what my pastor has said: A miracle is a natural or supernatural occurrence that is uniquely timed to bring glory to God.

Yo.

And we -- well I -- see miracles regularly.

Its a miracle how God saves me in a lot of traffic issues.

Best book I have ever read on the topic.....Then again...I haven't read that many  He defends the proposition that it is whenever the Super-Natural imposes causation or rather added stimulus to the Natural.....He denies that it is "interference" or "breaking" Natural Law...It is God, imposing added power to what is already the Natural.

Something that God does that seems to violate the natural order, something that God causes to happen outside of His established rules and laws!

A miracle is an Act of God in which He sets aside the natural order/law to achieve His purpose: the ascension of Enoch and Elijah, the parting of the Red Sea, the manna, the floating ax head.

I suppose for those of us who believe in the Doctrine of Grace the New Birth or Regeneration could be considered a miracle since God intervenes and sets aside man's natural antipathy toward God.
