    MIA (Miami)

You are able to find some good Cuban coffee.

    It means I'm home.

Amsterdam has an amazing airport. The Art Gallary was featuring Rembrantds, the food was good, and for parents, there was a baby room with nice cribs and loung chairs to relax on your layover.

That being said, my most extensive air trip was when we adopted our son from Kazakhstan. After the return trip of 24 hours (having spent 7 weeks in country), we were never so happy to see the memphis airport (home airport at the time).

I've been in the following airports.

    Peoria, IL
    Bloomington, IL
    Boston
    Denver
    Atlanta
    O'Hare
    Minneapolis
    Detroit
    DFW
    Providence, RI
    New Orleans (pre-Katrina)

I spent a miserable night at Hartsfield (Atlanta). We were trying to get to Boston in the middle of December, which was, predictably, delayed by weather, but AirTrans wouldn't commit to anything until they finally cancelled the flight at 1am. They did put us up in a hotel and gave us money for breakfast the next day, which helped, but not that much.

O'Hare is just too big. The few times I was there, it was a real hike to get from the arrival to departure gates.

DFW gets points for having the coolest tram. DFW loses points because the waiting area at the gate reminded me of Space:1999.

I think the Louis Armstrong airport (New Orleans) was the most memorable. I was there 3 months before Katrina, and the whole place looked like it was from the 1950s. I have no idea what airports looked like then, but I bet they looked a lot like that one.

My favorite airport is T.F. Green at Providence, RI.

My favorite airport is the one nearest my home, wherever I am living. Because when I get there I'll see my wife! Right now it's sarasota.

My least favorite is wherever I am going that takes me away from home.

My favorite airport is El Paso. You breeze through security and I always seem to fly in just at sunset, which makes for an awesome view over the desert.

Least favorite airports are O'Hare and Phoenix. It takes forever to get through security, and, at least at O'Hare, you can almost guarantee you'll be delayed, possibly jeopardizing your connecting flights.

I thought the new Northwest terminal at Detroit was pretty nice...and had a Starbucks and high def tv's!
2nd i would have to say London Gatwick.

Least favorite was Telgulcigapa, Honduras because the tarmac is short and ends at a cliff, and St. Louis since they sent my luggage to Dallas while i was enroute to New Orleans.

Used to love them, now I hate them.

I kind of like how they are redoing William P. Hobby in Houston. Plus, it has a Pappasito's Express in it! Yummy.

    Sorry for the pessimism...

    Least favorites:
Hartsfield (atlanta)...too busy, too many delays.
Kennedy (NYC): too many jerks and rude personnel, too many delays.
O'Hare (CHI): too big, too much room between terminals, too busy.
Logan (Boston): this applies in bad weather: you approach the runway over water. If you're scared of flying (it was my first flight), a rough day will make you think you're going for a "liquid landing." They talk funny there, too. :D

    Favorites:
Salt Lake City: friendly folk, great view coming in.
Zurich: great view on approach...cleanest and best-organized airport overseas I've seen; customs folks were even nice (!)
Billings Montana: Nice view. Smaller airport. Friendly folks. Cold as snot, though!
Cincinnati: I was a college student, and was wearing a Reds baseball cap. A baggage handler saw me, and mentioned that he was a huge reds fan. We ate lunch together and talked baseball. He was a Christian, found out I was going on summer missions, and he paid for my lunch! (that was before there was a federal law that prohibited airline travel from being enjoyable :( )

Favorite is Cleveland (because I'm leaving :))
Miami (because it in Florida. I love leaving with gray skies and snow on the ground, and landing to palm trees and humidity. It's like stepping into a dream)
O'hare (because any airport with a full brachiosaurus skeleton is OK in my book)

Least favorite was NJ (the people - rude)
    Atlanta (dirty)

    Man. Been to:

    Houston
    Dallas/Ft. Worth
    Atlanta
    Newark (NJ)
    Pittsburgh
    Providence
    Philly
    Minneapolis
    Detroit
    Boston
    Portland (ME)
    Roanoke
    Hartford (CT)
    Kansas City
    Washington D.C.
    Chicago
    Milwaukee
    Charles De Gaul (Paris)
    Los Angeles
    Denver
    St. Louis
    Gatwick (London)
    San Francisco
    Phoenix
    Pensacola
    Cleveland
    Billings (MT)
    Manchester (NH)
    Orlando
    Raleigh/Durham

That's off the top of my head. And they are all the same. It's not the airport that interests me, it's the reason I'm there..... :)

If I had to pick a favorite, it would be a toss up between Denver and Detroit. Though CDG was fun as you zipped around in these tubes that made you feel like you're a Jetson.

EDIT: Word of advice. Don't use the bathrooms in Minneapolis. :D And if you must, keep your hands and feet in the stall at all times.

    Fairbanks AK:
After the crowds, noise, "and the hustle and bustle" in Charlotte, and Minnisota, the peace and slower pace of life was great. Besides that, its in Alaska.

    Jackson Hole WY:
You can look out the window at the Grand Teton Mountain range while landing. (and the flight attendant was a great comedian)
