What sort of idiot wraps a guitar in gold contact?

No, wait, don't answer that....I think I know....

Took about 3 hours to do. Decided to do it for a project next week at local disabled fellowship based on Matthew 13:45-46


Old el cheapo 2nd hand guitar from hock shop: $70 a couple of years ago.

I think the tone is only just slightly muffled, she always has had an interesting sound though. There's a bit of a distorted sound on the lower strings, maybe because it looks like one of the struts inside has slightly lifted.....But whatever, I love her

I got her 2 or 3 years ago when one of the Sunday school kids wanted to start on guitar. I strung her lefty for the kid, but then kid got a guitar off a family member, so I just re-strung her righty and use her near the computer.

Here she is pre Goldie days as "No Frills" (named after a generic brand in Oz )
