We have a number of doctors and nurses.

I think CHURCHES should publish a list of businesses or occupations of members so we can support each other. [IMG]

I am the Administrator of a small Christian school. Therefore I am principal, teacher, coach, technical advisor, part time janitor, maintenance man and grounds keeper. There may be more but I can't find my other hats right now.

I've worn many hats. But for the last ten years, I have worked in the electronics industry. I worked at BOSE in Framingham, Mass for 7 years, Nortel, and a company called Sycamore that built buisiness internet & phone systems. I now work at a shop where I fix home & car audio systems (high-end stuff), guitars, amps, & P.A. systems.

I also play guitar and mandolin in a few bands, and that brings in some extra money. I volunteer at the Montana Rockies Bluegrass Association's events, and lead the Sunday morning Gospel shows.

    I'm a Cardiology nurse.
    I perform exercise stress tests.

After 8 years of working in the cardiac catheterization lab, (and many more years working in the critical care areas of a big Philly hospital), I left to perform stress tests.
I have been doing that for more than 10 years now.

The regular hours in the stress lab have allowed me more time to serve the Lord in the local church setting.

I taught Special Education in Middle School for 15 years but, had to take disability retirement due to vision problems and chronic tension headaches associated with it. For the last nearly 14 years I have worked for Wal-Mart in various capacities and am now a Support Manager. I did once own a very small home computer business for about 3 years.

I am an administrator at our local university. I also play bass guitar and vocalize with two groups, one southern gospel/bluegrass (with my parents and sister) and the other contemporary gospel (with my sister, her daughter and a close friend). I do some web site designing on the side. But first and foremost, my occupation is to be a child of the King, a wife and mother. [IMG]

I am a steelworker, and was a cop & a paramedic during a long layoff. I was a semipro football player(FB/LB) for various Cincy and Columbus teams in the Ohio Valley Football Conference. (Strictly bush-league. I had to buy my own equipment, except for my uniforms. I played solely for fun.) My wife and I have a small computer business, typing/storing medical transcriptions for three groups of doctors.

(Remember I'm old. lol I worked for 33 years, and at times worked 3 jobs to keep things up financially, while continuing with my volunteer work on the side.)

Currently I get paid to wear several hats at one place:
*Assistant to the Dean of the Honors College at a large public University.
*Event Coordinator of the Honors College.
*Building and equipment manager of the Honors College.
*Travel Coordinator and Payroll Manager of the Honors College.

I am a published writer and published poet. My writing includes Christian literature used in VBS and Sunday School.

I am the Mother. My daughter does missions and is studying missions at a Christian University, my son is in the 8th grade.

I've been Associate Children's Director of two different SBC churches.
I've done crisis counseling which included abused women, rape victims and suicide prevention.
I was a public accountant, but gave it up because it took time away from family.
I have done grant writing for a Medical School.
I was the Coordinator/Business Manager for a DNA Lab.
I was a reporter. As a reporter some of my better interview opportunities were George W. Bush, and Jake Pickle while he was Speaker of the House, and Carole Rylander when she was starting out in politics. I did some column work as well.
In my younger days I did some editing, and was production manager for a small paper. I've done type setting.
I used to do medical transcription and secretarial work, waitressing and computer work. I taught Data Entry for awhile, did a little statistical programming, and made extra money as a comptuer operator when computers filled whole rooms.

I used to be very active in politics and served on the Republican Party Executive Committee, was a delegate to State numerous times, precinct chair, election judge, and worked on many campaigns in various positions. I have been a paid political consultant for some Congressional Candidates. I was secretary of the county conventions several times.

I did a lot of volunteer work at a Christian Community Center in Austin, Texas. At that time I worked with the children.

I've always been active in choir, handbells and home missions.

Husband of one wife, Daddy to two little girls. My wife and I are also involved in several ministries of our local church. I am enabled to do all of these jobs for free by my secular job as a Software Systems Engineer for a network computer company.

Most people think I'm a Space Cadet, will that do? [IMG]

I worked as a Psych Tech in a private Mental Hospital for a number of years and as a phlebotomist. I also was a Sr. Medical Claims Examiner for Blue Cross. I'd gone to college (wanting only to be a wife and mother) intending to get a 4 year nursing degree and found my soulmate instead. [IMG]

I worked out of our home as a reporter for 2 small weekly newspapers covering high school sports and general reporting for several years.

I'm a wife of almost 35 years and mom to four.
