When conversing with Liberals remember the rules.

"I'm a proud Black man," said the Black man.

"I'm a proud Asian man," said the Asian man.

"I'm a proud Native American man," said the Native American man.

"I'm a proud white man," said the racist…

...what say you as a Christian.

I don't 'spect very many others will say much, rd2. Perhaps way too many have already fallen for the moniker and in real time, ashamed.

For sure, I am not ashamed of being white or, if I were of any other color I don't think I'd be ashamed. I've been called a racist a few times over the years and I really took offense to such at the time. Name calling comes from those unable to articulate and as such, start hurling insults. They are cowards.

But you know what? I don't think our Lord is very impressed with weenies. A Born Again Christian is to be bold. Courageous. Straight forward. Take the nonsense by the horns and expose it for what it is.

I am not sure that I understand this bit. Are you writing that Christian boldness is tied to posting in this thread?

...surely you jest brother Rolf. What it means is, I don't suspect very many others will say much. Perhaps way too many have already fallen for the moniker and in real time, ashamed.

Consider what's going on at that Missouri College Campus. These cry-baby punks need to grow up and I am of the opinion that us Christians should be the first to speak up and to speak loudly.. ISIS shot up Paris yesterday. Ruthless killers trying to appease their false god and where are we Christians? "... well, lets just give 'em a big hug and tell them about Jesus". Nope, if they want to die for their allah then it should be up to us to help arrange their meeting with him. An article today on WND?/Yahoo! about lesbians deciding to "abstain" until after marriage. Give me a break. Immigration? Abortion? Runaway crime? Baltimore is now right at 260 murders so far this year. Some nine year old child showed his affection to another student (opposite sex) by..., gasp..., oh my God..., by passing a note. The kid has now been expelled for "sexual harassment". ...amazing.

What are we (Christians) saying about what is happening in our world right now? ...and I don't mean throwing scripture at these clowns either. I am talking about taking a stand in our local communities and start a movement across this country.

Our elected officials bow to the Court of Public Opinion. Whoever shouts the loudest gets heard. The squeaking wheel gets the grease.

Are we a bunch of weenies or are we going to stand up to and against the sin? ...or are we going to fall for the "moniker" that all whites are racist, bow our heads and run and hide?

Were I to jest, I would indicate it by adding a "*laugh*".

This is the bit that I do not understand your meaning. Thanks anyway.

Copied and Pasted from a post on Yahoo!.

A Female Doctor in Germany Sends a Message to the World:

Yesterday, at the hospital we had a meeting about how the situation here and at the other Munich hospitals is unsustainable. Clinics cannot handle emergencies, so they are starting to send everything to the hospitals.

Many Muslims are refusing treatment by female staff and, we, women, are refusing to go among those animals, especially from Africa. Relations between the staff and migrants are going from bad to worse. Since last weekend, migrants going to the hospitals must be accompanied by police with K-9 units.

Many migrants have AIDS, syphilis, open TB and many exotic diseases that we, in Europe, do not know how to treat them. If they receive a prescription in the pharmacy, they learn they have to pay cash. This leads to unbelievable outbursts, especially when it is about drugs for the children. They abandon the children with pharmacy staff with the words: “So, cure them here yourselves!” So the police are not just guarding the clinics and hospitals, but also large pharmacies.

Truly we said openly: Where are all those who had welcomed in front of TV cameras, with signs at train stations?! Yes, for now, the border has been closed, but a million of them are already here and we will definitely not be able to get rid of them.

Until now, the number of unemployed in Germany was 2.2 million. Now it will be at least 3.5 million. Most of these people are completely unemployable. A bare minimum of them have any education. What is more, their women usually do not work at all. I estimate that one in ten is pregnant. Hundreds of thousands of them have brought along infants and little kids under six, many emaciated and neglected. If this continues and German re-opens its borders, I’m going home to the Czech Republic. Nobody can keep me here in this situation, not even double the salary than at home. I went to Germany, not to Africa or the Middle East.

Even the professor who heads our department told us how sad it makes him to see the cleaning woman, who for 800 Euros cleans every day for years, and then meets young men in the hallways who just wait with their hand outstretched, want everything for free, and when they don’t get it they throw a fit.

I really don’t need this! But I’m afraid that if I return, that at some point it will be the same in the Czech Republic. If the Germans, with their nature cannot handle this, there in Czechia it would be total chaos. Nobody who has not come in contact with them has no idea what kind of animals they are, especially the ones from Africa, and how Muslims act superior to our staff, regarding their religious accommodation.

For now, the local hospital staff has not come down with the diseases they brought here, but, with so many hundreds of patients every day – this is just a question of time.
In a hospital near the Rhine, migrants attacked the staff with knives after they had handed over an 8-month-old on the brink of death, which they had dragged across half of Europe for three months. The child died in two days, despite having received top care at one of the best pediatric clinics in Germany. The physician had to undergo surgery and two nurses are laid up in the ICU. Nobody has been punished.

The local press is forbidden to write about it, so we know about it through email. What would have happened to a German if he had stabbed a doctor and nurses with a knife? Or if he had flung his own syphilis-infected urine into a nurse’s face and so threatened her with infection? At a minimum he’d go straight to jail and later to court. With these people – so far, nothing has happened.

And so I ask, where are all those greeters and receivers from the train stations? Sitting pretty at home, enjoying their non-profits and looking forward to more trains and their next batch of cash from acting like greeters at the stations. If it were up to me I would round up all these greeters and bring them here first to our hospital’s emergency ward, as attendants. Then, into one building with the migrants so they can look after them there themselves, without armed police, without police dogs who today are in every hospital here in Bavaria, and without medical help.

Is this "situation" coming to America?

    "Joys of Muslim Women"

This was written by a woman born in Egypt as a Muslim.

This is not hearsay, and it will scare the life out of you.

    Joys of Muslim Women

    By Nonie Darwish
In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child. Consummating the marriage by 9.

The dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy.

Even though a woman is abused she can not obtain a divorce.

To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses.

Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. Husbands can beat their wives 'at will' and he does not have to say why he has beaten her.

The husband is permitted to have (4 wives) and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion.

The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman.

In the West World ( America ) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law.

By passing this on, enlightened American women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law.
    Ripping the West in Two.

Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.

She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.

Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza .

When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.

But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing.. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.

In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping sharia law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.

Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.

While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.

While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Sharia advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.

It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.

While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.

(In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in theU.S. To elect the President by themselves! Rest assured they will do so.. You can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA .. Dearborn Mich. Is one... And there are others...)

I think everyone in the U.S. Should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful.. Some may be but they have an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam.. They peacefully support the warriors with their finances and own kind of patriotism to their religion. While America is getting rid of Christianity from all public sites and erasing God from the lives of children the Muslims are planning a great jihad on America .

Certainly, the student unrest is not of the same focus as that back in the 60's in some ways, however, there is a common thread from what little I have read. Both were / are about equality and some being (or at least sensing) exclusion.

Whether such is perceived or real, the overt actions of some on campuses may or may not become destructive as the 60's were.

More to the point: What should the believer bring to the table both as an inner matter and overt expression when they read, hear, see, or become in some way embroiled in turmoil?

First, (imo) is to remember that as the evil of this age grows and the apostasy of the church thrives it is all in the plan of God. We are instructed to "Look up, for our redemption draws nigh."

Second, (imo) is to remember to follow peace. The Holy Spirit conducts war beyond our capacity in this living of understanding. ("We wrestle not...") and it is important to rely upon that certain and sure peace that passes this living of understanding. If the believer remains calm when all the world around them chases about, there is opportunity to communicate the Gospel.

Third, (imo) the West is not immune, and will become embroiled in the evil. Especially the U.S. which has a dark history of doing evil "for the greater good" there is coming a great judgment. There is no "U. S." in prophecy, unless one considers the destruction of the Revelation "Babylon" as applicable. But that is for another thread. No matter, the U.S. will be destroyed, it is only a matter of time.

Fourth, proclaim the Gospel, in every avenue. First to yourself, and then as you go along the path God leads, be a ready witness, that out of the inner will flow outward that which is living water.

Fifth, remember word "hope" is not the same meaning as 150 years ago. Hope is not something that is wished, rather something that is promised and looked forward to being realized. When the believer expresses hope (as it should be defined) there is no "hope for - wish," but rather a claim of assurance based upon the reliability of experienced living, answered prayers, and intimate fellowship with both Scriptures and the Holy Spirit. Such "hope" is not "wish" but fact based title of deed in which the believer is the heir.

The church of this modern time will be remarkable (imo) for a single outstanding characteristic. It will be little persecuted, it does not expect to be persecuted, and if it is persecuted has no ability to find the will of the Lord in that time of persecution.

Believers are quite the opposite. Believers will be persecuted, need to expect to be persecuted, and have the wonderful ability to find the will of the Lord in that time of persecution.

agedman..., Christians should not however roll over and play dead.

Each one of us should write to our Congressmen / Senators voicing our opinions on this run-away invasion America is going through right now and demand they take our concerns seriously.

For each letter written it translates to the attitude of a thousand people. Ten thousand letters will motivate any elected individual.

I am not opposed to letter writing. It has it's place.

Also it is good for one to become involved in the local meeting of the party they vote with, and then become an elected delegate to the state, that person can do more to actually formulate the representative and senator views. The various parties do not ignore a local representative elected to the state convention and especially those that sit on policy boards nearly as much as they will a letter. Personal access can effect changes.

    Paul said to pray.

For every complaint that is mentioned between believers, there should be a corresponding prayer for wisdom, guidance, and direction as a witness in this growing darkness.

Historically, was there ever much talk about Black and White and anything else until this false construct called the United States came about?

When I meet Christians, we fellowship as people in Christ. Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, etc all united in our celebration of Christ.

It's when politics and power and position enter the equation in which the very same people will devolve into
-isms and prejudices that causes them to seemingly lose that love for Christ and others that they have when in a church setting.

Not that I don't agree with much you said, I just wonder how Zaac goes about making sure he is meeting and fellow-shipping with like fellow believers, and I mean Born-again believers?

So, how prey-tell do you know if you are "meeting" with Christians? Or are you such a good judge of character, oh great mind reader!? Here is a link to assist you in deciding who is and who may not be what you assume you are joining with! http://www.gty.org/resources/bible-qna/BQ020112/Should-Christians-Be-Hospitable-to-Cult-Members

You see there's this thing that happens when air is expelled from my lungs and produces energy for my vocal chords. That air goes between my vocal chords and my tongue helps to elocute what I want to say to the other people. They receive that sound through their ears (let me know if I need to explain that process for yaThumbsup). And then their vocal chords respond to what I have said and it goes into my ear. We now have a dialog taking place upon which I can ask questions and get answers. Ta-dahhh!

I will generally give folks the benefit of the doubt until their less than Christian behavior and speech betray them. You know it's kinda like a person saying they are a published author, but their grammar and diction betrays them.;)

Can I get a clarification? Does this statement imply that racism wasn't a big deal prior to the USA?

Let me know, I have scores of examples waiting.

No. That's not it at all. Just saying that there really wasn't much talk about folks being white or black as a social construct until the 17th century in the United States. The construct bred a lot of racism.

That's correct Hank. Around that time. And for some reason , the rest of the world seemed to follow the lead of the burgeoning economic super power into what became a groundswell of wickedness over something as stupid as melanin in the skin.

No slaves in the spanish or portugese colonies, then? No elaborate racial charts easily available on google that defined people from Mexico to the tip of South America based on parentage?

You tell me. Were folks significantly referred to as black and white in Spanish and Portuguese colonies to the point that the designation stuck all over the world? I didn't say there were no other instances. But it really took off with the designations in the United States.
