    I typed in animated .gif file software on Google and came up with 146,000 sites at the following web-address:

    GIF Animator &lt;--freeware program from Microsoft.

    I have a freeware version of Ulead PhotoImpact that comes with an animator too.

    i may have done the same search in google, however, having a very small time to be at the net, i thought it better to ask in this board for the websites and then come back the next day, rather than try each one that google would show. and it helps, really!

    Microsoft Word has an "extras" package on one of the installation disks that allows you to upload animated gifs (or maybe it's just animated text and banners, I don't recall)---and you can download even more at Microsoft.

    Word has an excellent webpage creator---and it's right here right now in most computers!
