I would say that most of our new members are new believers. We have a great bus ministry and we also have a "Reformer's Unanimous" group.

Also, our Pastor has a sermon on our local TV station every week and a daily (local) radio broadcast. Many new members come from listening to and viewing those programs.

We gain members through all of the other ways you mentioned in the poll also. But our church is mainly an 'outreach' church.

Our church is a biblical worship center, so attracts many nominal believers who are adrift. Some had been backslidden (hate that word) and some just baby believers who need a place to grow.

Eclectic blend, but not too many newly saved.

    approx. Stats from last year

around 90 people added to membership

40-50 were new believers reached by people in the church, or programs of the church.

God is doing a great work, both by bringing great new members from other churches, as well as bringing in new Christians, plus the obvious nursery boom that doesn't hurt!

In the last month our church baptised 6 new mwmbers. 5 of those were new Christians. 1 had been baptised at a dif den church and wanted to be done at our church. big boom. but 75 percent of our members are from other churches and 10 % are returning prodigals.
